When you have decided that Herlufsholm is the right choice of school, you need to apply directly to the school.
First, you need to find the correct type of application form. Please note that the application forms are either for day students or boarding students. Download the application form HERE, fill in the form and send it by e-mail or regular mail to the school’s office using the contact information at the bottom of the website.
When we receive your application, we will contact you to confirm that it has been registered. We will then start the admission procedure by inviting the applicant and his or hers parents to an informal conversation. This gives you an idea about the school, who we are, and the general atmosphere on a normal school day. At the same time it gives us the possibility of the student and the family applying for the school.
If you apply as a boarding student, we invite you for a visit that will take approximately one hour and a half. First you will have an informal conversation with our Dorm Department Head, Niels Christian Koefoed. He will then take you on a tour around the school campus inviting you to see one of our dormitories, the school grounds, and many of the fantastic, historical features the school has to offer. After your visit here, you will, naturally, be given time to consider your decision.
If you apply as a day student, we invite you for a visit that will take approximately 15 minutes. These interviews will take place in March/April and is conducted by the administrative staff of our school.
Application deadline is March 15.
When you have made your decision, please inform the school. We will consider your application valid when admission fee and deposit has been paid.
