Application and Admission to Herlufsholm

In our admissions process, we do not solely consider academic results. We also emphasize the individual’s potential for personal development within the Herlufsholm community.

We recommend that both day students and boarding students, along with their parents, attend our Open Day events before submitting an application.

When applying, it is essential that we receive a transcript of grades along with a preliminary assessment of educational readiness or a statement from the current school.

Additionally, we would like to highlight that for admission to the STX program, we expect a grade average of approximately 7 in the subjects of mathematics, English, and Danish.

Applicants for the Pre-IB or IB Diploma programs are admitted on a rolling basis. We recommend applying as early as possible, preferably before June 1st.

Please note that even if you apply for STX/IB through optagelse.dk, you must also apply directly to Herlufsholm using the application form provided on this site.
