Lassengården

Lassengården is named after Anders Lassen (1920-1945), who was an officer in the British Special Boat Service during World War II. For a short period of time he was a student at Herlufsholm. He was the only foreigner to receive the Victoria Cross, the highest British military order.

From the school year 2019-2020, Lassengården will only house boys from the High School.

All the students get a single room, fully furnished with locker, work desk, lamp, shelf and sofa. Most students bring a little extra to give a personal touch to the room.

Emil Brandt Rex have been dorm teacher since 2015. Emil joined the school in 2011 as a Danish and history teacher. He lives at Lassengården with his spouse Kristine, who also teaches Danish in our High School and has done so since 2014. They have a dog, Severin, and two cats, Kingo and Vega.
