Herlufsholm School's buildings house both architectural and cultural-historical values.
However, the physical facilities cannot keep up with the increased demands that new teaching methods place on the design and equipment of the premises. This creates a need for the construction of new facilities and for the modernization of several existing ones. Simultaneously, the development of students is prioritized, including through special development programs aimed at particularly talented students.
Renovation and Upgrade of the Sports Field
The sports facilities are frequently used in both lessons and leisure time and are in need of an update. The first phase, which started in 2016, saw part of the Sports Field’s facilities renovated, and a new artificial turf field, a par 3 golf course, fitness stations in the forest, etc. were established. This first phase was supported by the Knud Højgaard Foundation with 2 million DKK. The second phase is planned for 2027-2028.
